Despite being indoors, there's clearly care given to protect against covid (eg disinfectants in every table)
We heard of this place through a local. It has a large selection of styles, and perhaps most are local or Spanish beers. The owner knows his stuff, is helpful and answer our questions regarding the local brewery scene in Galicia. We also had a sausague sandwich.. I know we don't come to Galicia to eat that, but it was def worthy it, filling and great combo with all we drank.
My family has a bias for stouts and porters..so the winner was Black Inverno (imperial cocoa smoked rye stout) from Ourense, but I did get a Zymeland to have some variety, mom's comment: "like a cocktail beer great for a hot day! Lets take one home"
Aside of Black Inverno we had:
Mortal combat (imperial rye stout ahumado. From Ourense?)
Cacao wiyard (stout with cacao from Lugo)
Mamba negra (Russian imperial stout from Lugo)
Zymelan? (Gose with guava, mango, mandarin from Ourense)
Nice bar with a large amount of beers from different places, most of them from locals and also from Europe locations.
Fantastic tap house in the center of Ourense. Good quality beers in excellent condition. There was a great selection when we visited all at a good value price point.

They have delicious and unique beers, if you went and don't try them you'll miss it. If you get attached to a beer, drink as much as you can because perhaps the edition is limited 😁. The service is very good and the tapas and portions are not far behind. They had - in my opinion - the best skewer of the spring skewer competition, so if you can, order some snacks too. Oh and every now and then there is live music. Anyway, since we met him we became regular customers.
We went to have some beers and in the end we stayed to try the burgers. And what a success!! Very good, very well priced and with super delicious bread. We took mouchño and sinxela. Lots of beers, both on tap and in bottles. The staff is wonderful and very pleasant. Highly recommended if you don't want to complicate things. 10/10.
